Peter Foster, Labour’s newly elected candidate for the Ōtaki electorate, will be meeting shoppers and promoting Labour’s campaign against the Sale of State Owned Assets tomorrow at the Paraparaumu Beach market.

BACKGROUND
Mr Foster was selected by Labour members last Saturday, as their candidate in the Ōtaki electorate for the General Election to be held on November 26.
Mr Foster is of New Zealand and Samoan descent and is married with three children. He has been a resident in Waikanae for the past 11 years and is Chairperson of the Waikanae School Board of Trustees, and a Member of the Paraparaumu College Board of Trustees.
The Ōtaki candidate is a practising criminal defence lawyer based in Raumati and is a Court Appointed Youth Advocate at Porirua and is a Trustee of the Whitireia Community Law Centre. Prior to practising law Mr Foster worked in the finance industry for thirteen and a half years.
