Ōtaki MP Nathan Guy has been re-selected as the National Party’s candidate for the Ōtaki electorate in this year’s general election.
“I was selected unopposed after the nomination was advertised publicly and I’m rapt to have this support,” says Mr Guy.
“Since first standing for Ōtaki in the 2005 election it’s always been a tight and well fought contest and I expect the same this year.
“I’m very proud to be the National MP for Ōtaki. It’s a great privilege to represent our area in Parliament and this year I’ll be asking the voters to let me continue this role.
“I’ve been working hard locally and I’m regularly available to meet constituents in my offices in Paraparaumu and Levin.
“I’m also enjoying the challenges of being a Minister in John Key’s National Government, which has done such a good job rising to all the major issues and challenges we’ve faced in the past two years.
“I still have much to achieve as MP for Ōtaki and I have the hunger and desire to continue making a positive difference in our local communities.”
