Chris Turver’s ‘Vision for Kāpiti’ (Kāpiti News, 22 Sept) shows his true, uncaring and underhand colours. The “environmental distasteful stuff” he says is carried along SH1 will, when his Sandhills dream is finalised, be carried within mere metres of many houses. Lucky him for being able to quickly fob off his Kiwi Road rental property when he started petitioning for the WLR option, and for not having to worry about any detrimental effects from his Te Horo home. Exactly how close to the expressway will you be, Mr Turver?
