It looks like a new contender has emerged for the Kāpiti Mayoral race.
Signs are going up advertising Peaches for Mayor and there is a positive response from the public.
One passer-by said “Peaches is definiely the cutest looking of the mayoral candidates and she has the right temperament for the job.”
Peaches, a golden lab, lives in Paekākāariki at The Beach Store on The Parade with Bridey and John.
Bridey says Peaches is very friendly and is available for interviews and is happy to respond to questions on all the major issues. Or maybe she will lay in the sun looking good.
