GrownUps are calling for nominations for the next Silverfox! Charming, handsome, confident men in the 50 plus age bracket will soon have the opportunity to enter the inaugural Silverfox of the Year competition.
If you know any charming, handsome men who are 50-plus and not camera-shy, they could well be GrownUps’ next Silverfox of the Year.
GrownUps Managing Director, Richard Poole, says the competition is all about celebrating what it means to be a man who is 50 plus in New Zealand today.
“One of the great things about this competition is that it continues to give this demographic a voice and does so in a positive way.
“Everyone knows a ‘Silverfox’ or someone who closely fits the description and we hope they’ll encourage them to enter.
“We’re expecting some well known names from around the country to enter including sportsmen, businessmen, and some from the entertainment industry, as well as other well-known personalities.”
A Silverfox is usually defined as an older, debonair man between 50 and 70.
People who are interested in entering the competition can do so via www.grownups.co.nz in one of three age categories – 50-59; 60-69 and 70 plus. The Silverfox of the Year competition is open until Sunday, 19 September 2010.
Once entries close, there will be an online voting process and GrownUps members will be able to vote for their favourite Silverfox online. Voting begins on Monday, 20 September and closes Wednesday, 29 September.
The Silverfox of the Year will be announced on Monday, 4 October 2010.
