Te Horo’s Trevor Grice has just received the CNZM at Premier House for services to the community. He is the founder of the Life Education Trust which helps educate children on drug and alcohol use.
The Life Education Trust now has 42 mobile classrooms which visit schools around the country.
Mr Grice was one of several local people to receive their awards at Premier House recently.
Mr Guy said: “It was an honour to represent the Crown at this investiture and be able to congratulate Mr Grice for all that he has done locally and across New Zealand.”
