Christian Cullen has tied the knot with long-time partner Mandy Fawcett.
The Greatest All Black Fullback of all-time, “Paekākāariki Express” Christian Cullen, has tied the knot with long-time partner Mandy Fawcett. The couple has been together for 12 years, and have two children.
The Big Day’s guest-list was a who’s who of Wellington and All Blacks rugby, including Ma’a Nonu, Norm Hewitt and Alama Ieremia.
Guests gathered beforehand at the White Swan boutique hotel in Greytown, and according to one local, Fawcett’s father had to make a quick dash into a local clothing store when he discovered he’d forgotten his shirt.
The wedding venue was the idyllic Assisi Gardens in a remote rural area about 18km east of Masterton.
Cullen was a superstar of world rugby in the late 90s. He played 58 tests for New Zealand between 1996 and 2002, scoring 46 tries. He finished his career with Irish team Munster, retiring in 2006.
The Cullen family are living in Paraparaumu.
