Max Lutz was re-elected as Chair at a recent meeting of the Ōtaki Friends of the River. Mr Lutz was nominated by Nigel Wilson, and seconded by Barry Mansell.
The Deputy Chair, Eric Matthews, was nominated by Barrie Bayston, and seconded by Graham Winterburn. Mr Lutz and Mr Matthews were elected unopposed.
Mr Lutz moved a vote of thanks to Lenore Winterburn for her years of service as Deputy Chair and Secretary.
Penny Gaylor was elected Secretary and Peter Pope was elected to the position of Treasurer. Nursery Convenor, Barrie Bayston was re-elected.
