Lynda Andrews is running a course "Laugh Your Way to Health and Happiness" at the Kapiti Community Centre.

The Kapiti Community Centre has a number of hobby, support and community groups that regularly use the centre.

Laugh Your Way to Health and
Happiness Lynda Andrews

Laugh as an exercise to feel and look good! Discover the

Singing Lessons for All Fiona Bee
Have you ever said "but I can't sing"? Has anyone ever
taught you how? Learn some basic techniques in a fun
group setting with one of Kapiti's top contemporary singing

Ukulele for Beginners (Adults) Cam Sutton
Learn the basics of this popular, fun and easy-to-play
instrument. Bring your own ukulele.

Learn the basic chords, strumming and lots of songs. Bring
your own acoustic guitar.

Decorating Kids Novelty Birthday Cakes
Thomas and Mary Thomas

Discover how to decorate novelty birthday cakes with
New Zealand's Award Winning Team from Kapiti Cakes
and Bakery. Come along and have a go. Ingredients and
equipment will be provided.

Cheese Making Hands On Workshop -
Alexis Murtie (from Curious Cook)

Making your own Halloumi and Ricotta cheese is easy you
just need someone to guide you through it! All ingredients
and recipes provided. Also includes cheese tasting
throughout and cheese made by you to take home!

Mad Millie Alexis Murtie

Learn how to make your own Mozzarella and Mascapone
cheese using Mad Millie DIY Cheesemaking equipment. If
you already have a kit let Alexis show you how simple the
recipes are to follow.

Worm Farming for Children & Adults - Hannah Zwartz
Building a worm farm is great fun and an excellent way to
educate children about our natural world.
Feed your waste to those hungry munching worms and
make great compost.

Herbs are among the easiest plants to grow both indoors

Hannah Zwartz

Learn how to take cuttings from your favourite plants and
grow plants from seeds. These are the quickest and easiest
ways of making more plants for free. Choose the workshop
that best suits you.
