The Kapiti WEA has announced its spring programme.
July 29th Bryan Wells talks on the Battle of Waterloo at the Kapiti Community Centre, 15 Ngahina St, Paraparaumu, from 1.30 pm - 4 pm. Coast $30 ($20 for members)
5 August Eastern Philosophy: Freedom presented by Prof Jay Shaw, 10 am - 3 pm, Presbyterian Church Hall, Waikanae $40 (members $30)
12 August Modern Iran presented by Hamish McGragor 10 am - 3 pm, Kapiti Community Centre, $50 ($40 members)
Hoop Club Kapiti – Junior Basketball Coaching Programme
Hoop Club in Otaki restarts for Term 3 on Sunday 30 July and runs through to Sunday 24 September
The next meeting of The Lions Club of Kapiti is to be held on Tuesday 18 July at the Ocean Road Community Centre (Formerly The Senior Citizens Hall) in Ocean Road.
We will be having a meal ($22.00 per head) and listening to a guest speaker. Our Guest Speakers are Sandra Roxburgh & Steve Humphries from Hebe Botanicals Otaki.
We meet at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm meal and we finish at about 8.30pm.
