Otaki Green Party Launch
April 2017
Digging in...Otaki Green Party candidate Sam Ferguson

"This year, we're running a political campaign with a difference, and a whole lot of heart," says Green Party Leader James Shaw ahead of the Greens campaign launch in Otaki.

"We have an incredible opportunity this election to form the heart of a progressive government. Together we will make a difference. Together we can get a Green government elected and do what National have failed to - tackle climate change, the state of our rivers, and lift the well-being of families. Every. Green. Vote. Counts. Together we can do it. We'd like to invite you to join us in making this happen."
Mr Shaw says Volunteers are the Green Party's secret advantage. "Because our people, people like you, care a whole lot. While the National Party is able to use its corporate donors to bankroll their campaign, ours is made of people power. Together we will win.
"Come along, meet other people who care a whole lot too, and find out more about the campaign. We'll bring the chips and dip."

OTAKI CAMPAIGN LAUNCH
Location: Tele Hotel, 284 Rangiuru Road (cnr Rangiuru Rd / Tasman Rd), Otaki
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Date: Sunday, April 30th

"Come along and hear about what we're doing here in Otaki ahead of the September election. Join us to see how you can help us get more Greens elected this election.
"There are hundreds of ways you can help. Your support in our volunteer-led campaign is crucial to the Green Party being strong enough in Government to address climate change and lift kids out of poverty," says Mr Shaw.
"We love Aotearoa, and we want our country to be great for a long time, for our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren."
